When I took over the role of MLRO for the company my main concern was that as many of our clients were remote, did we really know that the documents we were being provided matched the person on the end of the phone?

I was keen to look at products that matched the person we were speaking to, to the ID they were providing. I also wanted this to be done in a quick and easy framework that would not slow down our own internal sales process.

How Credas Helped

We use Credas as part of our AML process. It is very helpful, especially as a time saving measure as we are no longer waiting for physical copies of ID to come in. The agent led app has been a great development and certainly helps when we are doing checks for clients face-to-face.

Results

We have never felt tied down to use the product. We buy credits as and when we need it, with no pressure to sign up to a length and restrictive contract (which we were under before).

We have certainly found that for the right clients, Credas can help us shave days off the time we need to get a property marketed or an offer accepted.
